Anthrax Vaccine Scandals Won't Go Away
by Phyllis Schlafly, March 1, 2000
It wasn’t just idle words when Bill Clinton said he
“loathed” the military. He has damaged U.S. Armed Services in so many ways
that it’s no wonder morale, recruitment and retention levels are at
all-time lows. ... Clinton has used the military to indulge in social
experimentation to appease the feminists and gays, and in interventionist
experimentation to please his globalist friends. He has also ordered
medical experimentation through compulsory anthrax vaccination. ...

Cholesterol Drugs Not
Effective
by Lyndsey Layton (Washington Post)

niacin,
a cheap vitamin, in helping to unclog coronary arteries in people already
taking statins, the standard medicines used to lower cholesterol,
according to a new study. [

Deadly Doctors
by Edgar A. Suter, M.D.
A
1990 Harvard Medical Practice study suggests that each year 150,000 people
die from the negligence of doctors. Since there are about 300,000 doctors
in the United States, that means that approximately one out of every two
U.S. doctors negligently kills one patient every year. Over a 30-year
career, this could mean that the average doctor would kill 15 patients.
Since there are about 200,000,000 guns in the United States, and about
30,000 people die annually from gun assaults, suicides, and accidents
combined, each year an American gun has a one in 6,666 chance of
killing someone. [

Drugstore Dangers
by Susan Headden et. al.
Too many pharmacists fail to protect consumers against
potentially hazardous interactions of prescription drugs. … In 11 states,
pharmacists have been granted the limited right to prescribe certain
medications — a privilege traditionally reserved for doctors. ... many of
the nation's pharmacists ... are failing to protect consumers against
dangerous interactions of prescription drugs, an exploding health-care
problem that sends hundreds of thousands of Americans to the hospital
every year. ... [ MORE ]
Ephedra: Another View
by Jerry McLaughlin, Ph.D.
In view of the
sensationalism created by the FDA and the media over the purported side
effects, the beneficial effects of ephedra, as an aid to weight loss, are
being unjustly ignored. Of the 2,300,000 total deaths recorded in 1997 in
the U.S., some 955,021 (42 percent) were attributed by the Centers for
Disease Control (CDC) to conditions that typically emanate from obesity
(heart disease, hypertension, stroke, and diabetes). According to CDC
statistics some 54 percent of the adults in the U.S. are overweight, and
the mortality due to obesity is certainly a greater danger than the rare
incidences of stroke or heart attacks attributed to temporary consumption
of ephedra products. Thus, ephedra products for weight control clearly
offer a favorable ratio of benefit to risk, and that ratio is equivalent
or superior to anything else that is available to the U.S. consumer as an
anorexiant (appetite suppressant). [

Europe Bans
Supplements
Despite an overwhelming protest from the people of Europe who demanded
their right to natural healthcare, these regulations were passed in secret
behind closed doors, in the usual Eurocratic dictatorial fashion. In a
nutshell, they will make it illegal, in a couple of years, to sell about
two thirds of the current food supplements in our health shops today —
supplements which are not only completely non-toxic, but are central to
many alternative and complementary therapies.

Fluoride: A Caustic
Issue
Fluoride, a corrosive chemical more poisonous than lead, is added to more
than 60 percent of U.S. water supplies annually. This number is said to be
on the increase, … Sodium fluoride was the kind of
fluoride originally added to public water supplies, but this is no longer
the case. While it is difficult to fathom why people would willingly add a
substance once sold as rat poison to their drinking water, …
Most fluoridated water supplies in the U.S. are treated with more caustic
kinds of fluoride, such as fluosilicic acid and sodium silicofluoride.
These compounds are waste products supplied by major corporations of
the phosphate fertilizer industry. Anti-fluoride groups believe
these corporations save millions of dollars, because it would cost them
many times more to dispose of such hazardous materials properly than it
does to unleash them on the public. [

Positive Results with
Ginkgo
Results of a multicenter study published in the … the
Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) indicate
that Ginkgo biloba extract can be of significant benefit in the
treatment of dementia associated with Alzheimer disease and multi-infarct
dementia. The authors asserted that the improvement seen in patients with
Alzheimer could be equated with “a six-month delay in the progression of
the disease.” These results are particularly promising in light of the
fact that no satisfactory treatments currently exist for the management of
this common and devastating condition. [ MORE

Hepatitis B Vaccine
by Jane Orient, M.D.
[The Association of American Physicians & Surgeons] opposes federal mandates for
vaccines, on principle, on the grounds that they are:
(1) An unconstitutional expansion of the power of the
federal government.
(2) An unconstitutional delegation of power to a
public-private partnership.
(3) An unconstitutional and destructive intrusion into the
patient-physician and parent-child relationships.
(4) A violation of the Nuremberg Code in that they force
individuals to have medical treatment against their will, or to
participate in the functional equivalent of a vast experiment without
fully informed consent.
(5) A violation of rights to free speech and to the
practice of one’s religion (which may require one to keep oaths). AAPS
would specifically oppose the campaign for universal immunization against
hepatitis B, even if the above did not apply, because the safety of the
vaccine is in question. ... [ MORE ]

Swine Flu Information
Has your doctor encouraged you to get
a flu shot? Perhaps you’ve heard dire predictions of the “worst flu season
in years” and want to make sure you’re protected? Well, here’s the rub:
Flu shots are neither as safe nor effective as you’ve been lead to
believe, and there still has been no H1N1
vaccine developed (as of November 11, 2009). It turns out
the government and certain interested parties have worked very hard to
convince you the flu vaccine is your best protection against the flu. And
that just isn’t true. In fact, most of what you've been told about the
vaccine is a myth, carefully designed to put billions of dollars into Big
Pharma’s pockets and to terrifying you into accepting a sweeping takeover
of the entire health care industry by the Marxist elements of our
government. [

Vaccination Waiver
When health care, school, or other government officials
tell you that the law requires your children to receive potentially
harmful, or even lethal, vaccinations, they are lying to you. Anyone who
is in a position to tell you that vaccinations are required, also has in
their desk drawer the government’s formal waiver form. They are required
by law to lie to you and try everything to coerce you into vaccinating
your children; but to allow them to do so is a violation of your civil and
religious liberties. This form is even better than the official government
form, and sets forth legal reasons for you to refuse to allow your
children to be vaccinated. [ MORE ] [ Printable
